To start | A minimal upfront cost, scaled to the size of the build. Bigger, more complex systems cost more to stand up than small ones, so the figure is set against the actual job rather than a fixed price list. You'll have the number before you commit to anything. |
To build it | Nothing further. Four to six weeks of work beyond the upfront — the bulk of the risk sits with us, not you. |
While it's proving itself | Nothing. It runs beside your team until you're satisfied. No charge at all for that period, however long you want it. |
Once you switch it on | 20% of what the job used to cost you, charged per item it handles. You keep 80%. |
Minimum | £250/month once live, covering hosting and monitoring — credited against the 20%, so most months you'll never see it. |

The baseline is measured, not guessed. Before anything is built we work out what the job actually costs you today, in hours and pounds, and we both sign off that number. Everything is charged against it — which stops us overstating it and stops anyone arguing about it later.

The model needs a countable unit — a claim, an application, an invoice, a booking, a job sheet — and enough repetition to be worth automating. If your process has neither, the assistant will say so rather than talk you into a build.
