What can a customer actually find out from your website?
Someone deciding whether to phone you is looking for two or three specific facts. An answer engine reading the same page is doing the same job with the same material. If the page does not state a fact, neither can say it. This checks which ones are there.
Four UK websites, audited as they stand today.
Nothing here is illustrative. Each site is scored against the questions its own trade gets asked, and clicking an answered question shows the line on the page it was found in. Businesses other than our own are unnamed, and anything in the evidence that would identify them is marked as redacted.
Audited 21 August 2026. Up to 10 pages per site, each against its own trade.

Three outcomes, not two.
Answered
The page states it, and the report shows the line it was found in. A page that mentions a topic has not answered the question: a site describing itself as affordable has not stated its prices, and is not counted as having done so.
Not answered
Nothing on the pages read settles it. This is the useful half. The questions sitting in this column are the ones your reception takes by phone, and the ones an answer engine cannot repeat on your behalf.
Not read
Some sites do not respond, or sit behind a filter that refuses anything not shaped like a browser. Of 972 UK law firm websites audited this month, 937 were read and 35 were not. Those 35 get no score, because a zero would be a claim about the business rather than about our access to it.
The questions fit the trade
A dental practice is asked whether it takes new patients, a law firm whether the first call is free, a consultancy who owns the code at the end. Asking all of them where to park would mark down every business without a car park. The sets are plain YAML in the repository, one per trade, and the pattern deciding each question sits next to it.
This is the same engine we built to let a phone agent answer calls as a specific business. It knows what a website does not say, which turns out to be the more useful half.
Run it on your own site.
MIT licensed, one dependency, and it works without an API key. Five question sets included, or point it at your own. The hosted version with a shareable report is being built. Until then the command line does the same job.
pip install git+https://github.com/ProductConsultTeam/answerable
answerable yourpractice.co.uk --bank dental --evidenceQuestion sets included: dental, legal, veterinary, consultancy, and a general one for any business. Read the code and the question banks on GitHub.
If the gaps are being answered by a person, that is a cost.
Every unanswered question above arrives as a phone call.
We measure what handling those costs a year, then build the system that handles them. There is no charge for the initial call and no obligation.
